Nurit Hirsh
Israeli pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor, born in Tel Aviv (1942). Began composing upon completion of her military service and wrote over one thousand songs, including 'Perach halilach' for Chava Alberstein, 'Ey sham' for [a=Ilanit] (Eurovision 1973) and 'A-ba-ni-bi' for [a=Izhar Cohen] (winner Eurovision 1978). Hirsh conducted her two Eurovision compositions herself.
