Warren Gluck

Warren Gluck (born August 29 - died April 29, 2020) was a DJ for over 25 years, starting out on Long Island, a suburb of New York City, in 1975. In 1979 he started his residency with The Monster, first on Fire Island, then Key West and finally at the Monster NYC, where he has been head DJ since its grand opening almost 18 years ago in December of 1982. In November of 1982 he first performed at The Saint, the legendary mega-club in NYC, and became a regular there until its closing in May of 1988. He continues to play parties for The Saint-at-Large held at Roseland in NYC. Through the years he has performed at just about every major circuit event in the country, and in addition has played the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Party, the world's largest dance party, three times. He continues to play in Sydney several times yearly. In addition to his Monster residency, he is also appears regularly at the Pavilion and the Blue Whale in the Pines on Fire Island, and plays on the Atlantis all-gay cruises. In 2000, he played the main dance event for the Millennium March on Washington; Cherry 5.0, the ReUnion Party at City Hall in San Francisco for Gay Pride, Madrid Spain's first outdoor Dance for Gay Pride, and the main event for the Hotlanta River Raft weekend. In 2001, he played the Winter party in Miami, closed the Saint at Large Black Party, played Jungle Lust IX in Houston, Dancing on the Beach in East Hampton, The Pines 2001 Party, Toronto's Leatherball, Hotlanta's Closing Party, DC's Colors of Fall, Atlantis' Viva Las Vegas Main Event, and the Closing Party of the final Red Party in Columbus. In 2002, in addition to the two Atlantis cruises (Caribbean and Hawaii), and gigs for Mardi Gras in Sydney, Warren criss-crossed the country, highlighted by Jungle Lust X in Houston, Gay Pride in Phoenix and Boston, Cleveland's Erie Party, Viva Las Vegas in October, Houston's Black Ball in November, and New Year's Eve in Dallas. Also in November Warren was the only American DJ playing in Sydney for the Gay games 2002, playing the entire set at the Sunset Party, an outdoor party for 6000 people on the Sydney Harbour (Warren's personal favorite party of his career). In 2003, Warren again played on four Atlantis Caribbean cruises, and played the Gluck-Puck Circuit Brunch for Fireball Weekend in Chicago. He also played the opening dance party for Winter Party Week in Miami and closed the Saint-at-Large White Party in New York to rave reviews. He spent the Summer headlining at the Pavilion on Fire Island, and the Paramount in Provincetown, and then New Orleans for Southern Decadence Labor Day Weekend. For Halloween he was back in Provincetown, and for Thanksgiving back to Puerto Vallarta to headline the Latin Fever weekend. So far in 2004, Warren has done two Atlantis cruises, gigs in DC and LA, opened the Pavilion on Fire Island, played the closing party for Viva Las Vegas on Memorial Day weekend, and Boston's Gay Pride in June. Upcoming events include Houston's Gay Pride, July 4th on Fire Island, Provincetown, the Atlantis Mediterranean and Mexican Riviera cruises and the Main event Halloween Party in New Orleans.
