Ikuo Shiosaki

Japanese jazz guitarist and teacher. Born in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture in 1933. He moved to Tokyo in 1958 and participated in the [a=Seiji Hiraoka] Quintet. He is a guitarist at the time of [a=Mie Nakao]'s debut, and works as a backing for many singers. He has appeared on many TV programs such as NHK's song program and Hiroshi Ogawa show. After that, he became free after working at [a=Hachidai Nakamura Quintet] and [a=Hidehiko Matsumoto] Quartet, recorded with [a=Hachidai Nakamura], [a=Eiji Kitamura], [a=Kazuo Yashiro], [a=Koji Fujika], [a=Yuzuru Sera], and [a=Ichiro Masuda], and appeared in concerts by radio all-star combo. .. On the other hand, he was a lecturer at Yamaha Nem Conservatory and [a=Hidehiko Matsumoto], Lovely Jazz School, and now runs his own jazz guitar class.
