Τόλης Βοσκόπουλος

Tolis Voskopoulos was a Greek easy listening/light laïkó initially & laïkó subsequently singer, songwriter, and actor. Born July 26, 1940, Kokkinia, Piraeus, Greece - Died July 19, 2021, Athens, Greece. He met enormous artistic acclaim, earning the nickname "Πρίγκηπας" (Pringipas = Prince), while he is widely regarded as one of the most important singers to ever grace Greek music and as one of the greatest Greek performers of all time. He also starred in many films and played in the theatre in Athens. He made his debut in the theatre in 1958, and in cinema in 1960. In 1962, he entered the discography with the single "[r=8139172]". He composed the song "[m=832344]", which was performed by [a2236960] and won the first prize at the 9th Easy Listening Song Festival of Thessaloniki on 11 September 1970. In 1971, he helped [a=Τζένη Βάνου] re-establish her career.
