Kensington Market

Canadian psychedelic rock band, based in Toronto & active from 1967 to 1969 with some moderate chart success. The band was named after a downtown Toronto neighbourhood and put together and managed by Bernie Finklestein. Line-up: Keith McKie: guitar, vocals Eugene Martynec: keyboards, guitar, vocals Luke Gibson: guitar, vocals Jimmy Watson: drums Alex Darou: bass Jon Mills-Cockell: occasional synthesizer McKie was originally from England, Martynec emigrated from Germany, and Watson was born in Ireland (and a cousin of Van Morrison). Darou, Gibson, and Mills-Cockel were from the Toronto area.
