Erik Dahlbäck

Swedish drummer/percussionist that also plays piano, called Kapten, born in 1944 in Södertälje. He was a member of the [a1872529] 1965–1970 and has played with pianist [a411430], trumpeter [a252605] and bassist [a256168], among others. Dahlbäck was a founding member of [a615696] in 1970, left the band after their second album but returned in 1980. Erik Dahlbäck is the younger brother of comedian [a1667689] and the son of accordionist [a10231429]. He has three musically active children, namely producer and musician [a418322], house disc jockey [a20805] and singer-songwriter [a267783], and two daughters active in media, Jenny Grewdahl and Anna Dahlbäck.
