American jazz drummer and percussionist. Also wrote song lyrics occasionally. Born : June 24, 1898. Died : February 12, 1980 in Yonkers, New York. Jack played, among others, with "The Original Memphis Five", "Ladd's Black Aces" and "Sam Lanin & His Orchestra".
