Anders Uddberg

Swedish musician, born 25 February 1960 in Hässelby, died 26 August 1984 in Spånga. He was a member of the Swedish pop group Free Style. Anders Uddberg started the band together with Joakim Hagleitner, Christer Sandelin and Tommy Ekman (1979 Gigi Hamilton, Kayo Shekoni and Diane Söderholm became members of the group). Uddberg is behind Freestyle's great success musically. His way of playing and his synth programming characterized the group's special soundscape. Guitars are completely missing; instead, Uddberg's keyboard solo is prominent. Uddberg wrote the music for several of Freestyle's songs together with the other members of Freestyle.
