Romuald Frey

Born on January 2, 1952 in Wałbrzych, Poland. He took private lessons of playing the classical guitar and participated in music classes in the District Culture Center at Gottwald Street in Wrocław. He perfected his skills during numerous guitar workshops. He played in many Wrocław bands, the best known of them are: [a=Nurt], Kameleon, [a=Transport Band], Grupa Market, [a=Ozzy (5)], Wrocław Band. As a session musician, he recorded theater and film music, as an accompanist he accompanied countless performers during concerts. In 1983, he took part in the recording of Ewa Bem's album "Loves The Beatles". In 1985 he emigrated to Sweden, where he played in local bands and created duets with local jazzmen. He collaborated with living in Sweden Polish jazz vocalist [a=Fryderyka Elkana]. In 2008, together with Swedish and Polish musicians, he recorded Leslie Kot's album "Green Colors", which also contains his compositions. After returning to Poland from 2017, Frey playing in the reactivated band [a=Crash (18)]. First concert took place on December 20, 2017 at the Wroclaw club "Liverpool".
