Christos Stylianou

Christos Stylianou was born in Cyprus. He released his debut CD single (Cyprus, 11/2001), along with his first CD Album (Mare Anima, Cyprus 1/2002). His work can be categorized under the new age, alternative pop, enriched with ethnic elements. He is now living in Athens, where he studied composition and orchestration. The lyrics of his songs are written by songwriter Corina Michaelidoy in Greek, English, Spanish, Italian and even Latin. In June 2005, he was invited to perform Emma Shapplins opening act during her tour in Cyprus. His compositions were performed in front of an audience of 2000 people in the Kourio ancient theatre. His act impressed the press critics, a fact that eventually led him to the preparation of his first international project the presentation of his work in Paris. The concert took place in December of 2005, at the Cite Internationale des Arts, and his work was performed by the French “Ensemble Pyxis”. The concert was organized under the endorsement of the Cypriot government and the French Cultural Center of Cyprus. His album "Tales of love" was released in October of 2007. The first single “Smell Of Roses” featuring Maria Latsinou is included in the compilation “HELLECTRONIC 01”, and had been released in June 2006 by “The Sound Of Everything” (www.thesoundofeverything.com). His single "Pienso en ti" was frequently included on well known radio stations all throughout Greece and Cyprus. Where he also was listed on a compilation cd for one of Athens well known radio-station. He has also produced and composed with V-Sag. One of the productions "Looking for you" which was included on Mr. Sam's "Opus Secundo" cd. Now releasing, his newest features, "Secret World'' and "No Puedo Saberlo" which will be available at the end of 2008.
