Sarah McKissick Simmons

Sarah McKissick was a gospel backing vocalist and member of the [a5589744]. She was married to the late [a1159788], a longtime member of the [a341921]. She was also the first cousin of famed singing Evangelist [a1081825]. McKissick not only sang with the Little Lucy Smith Singers but also with [a1013997] from 1956-1958, The [a341921] and [a1081824]. Mrs. Sarah McKissick passed away in 2008. A gospel concert at Mt. Patmos Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia was held posthumously in her honor.
