Szigeti Ferenc

Born: April 15, 1949, Budapest, Hungary Hungarian guitarist, composer, sound engineer, producer and recording producer. After his university graduation he joined [a=Corvina] to play the guitar and to contribute to writing music. After the disbanding of this formation in 1978, he and 4 musicians founded [a=Karthago (2)] in 1979. Besides playing the music actively, he had been the recording producer of [l=Magyar Rádió] and [l=Hungaroton] since 1985. He was the director of pop music at [l=Proton (3)], the first Hungarian privately held publishing company, co-founder of Association of Hungarian Record Companies. He had been the secretary-general of this association for 13 years. He is also the founder of [l=Zebra (2)], which was purchased by [l=PolyGram Hungary] after a few years.
