Robin Buyer

New York, New York NYC-based engineer, bassist and composer. Bassist and composer Robin Buyer was born and raised in Southern Maryland. He has a B.A. from Northeastern University in music history and analysis, with focuses in ethnomusicology and bass performance. Previously, Robin performed with/composed for Gamelan Galak-Tika in Boston and played bass in OGR band Fortunaut. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, where he helps manage Odd Gift Records. His group the Robin Buyer Sextet is releasing its debut album, Leave, in June 2016.
