Norbert Brainin

Jewish born, Norbert Brainin (March 12, 1923 – April 10, 2005), was the first violinist for the renowned Amadeus Quartet (formerly known as the Brainin Quartet), which he formed with fellow strings musicians Siegmund Nissel, Peter Schidlof and Martin Lovett.
