Peter Schidlof
Peter Schidlof was born in Vienna on July 9, 1922. He was a viola player for one of the most celebrated quartets of the 20th century, the Amadeus Quartet, founded in 1947 by him, Siegmund Nissel, Martin Lovett and Norbert Brainin. He died in 1987, which was the event that made the famous strings quartet disband.
