Nam June Paik

Korean-born American artist, born in Seoul, June 20th, 1932, died in Miami, January 29, 2006. Studied Art & Music at University of Tokyo and later Munich. Meets and works with [a32190], [a251144] & [a26955], among many others. Participates in Fluxus events, marries [a624581]. Renowned as one of the pioneers of Video Art and the father of Installation Art. In 2000 he received the National Arts Club Award & the retrospective "The Worlds of Nam June Paik" opens at the Guggenheim Museum, New York.
