Nisse Lind

Swedish jazz musician (accordion and piano), conductor, and composer, nicknamed "Bagarn", born October 27, 1904 in Stockholm, Sweden, died October 25, 1941 in the same city. Having played piano with [a=Paramountorkestern] 1926-1930, Lind became the first Swedish jazz accordionist when recording "Tiger Rag" for Decca in 1934. In 1936 he formed [a=Nisse Linds Hot-Trio] with bassist [a=Henry Lundin] and guitarist [a=Birger Larsson].
