Kav Temperley

Singer, songwriter, producer and label-owner. Born as Finlay Beaton in 1978 at Mosman Park, Western Australia. His name was legally changed to 'Satyam Kavyen Temperley' by his parents when he was 7. Together with Stu MacLeod and Joel Quartermain he formed Eskimo Joe. He later former Basement Birds, a 4-piece collaborative project Kav Temperley and Australian songwriters, Josh Pyke, Kevin Mitchell and Steve Parkin. Founder of the indie label 'Dirt Diamond Productions'. APRA Ambassador and Ambassador for 'White Ribbon' - A Violence Against Women Support and 'Protest' Group.
