Mike Curb

American musician, songwriter, producer, record company executive, race car owner and politician. Born December 24, 1944 in Savannah, Georgia. Curb formed [l127447] in 1964, which later became [l2646]. From 1969 to 1974, Curb was President and 20 percent owner in MGM Records, and Chairman of publishing company Robbins, Feist and Miller. After MGM Records was sold, Curb joined Ronald Reagan’s campaign for President as Co-Chairman in 1976. Curb's involvement with Reagan led to Curb running for Lieutenant Governor of California in 1978. He served as Lieutenant Governor from 1979 to 1983. He later joined President Reagan in Washington as National Finance Chairman. In 1986, Curb returned to the music business full time.
