French singer. Born as Jean-Marc Brige in Cherbourg (Manche) on 17 December 1945 and died in Paris 21 November 1994. In the early 1960s , Billy Bridge is noticed by [a2179101], who works for the [l33930] label. He published under this label, his first album [r4708530] in 1962 , where he enjoys the support of the American guitarist [a415476]. The same year, he popularized in France the American dance the madison . He had more success with [r3699852], the big M, Madison flirt ... He is then called "Le Petit Prince Madison". He did a concert in September 1962 at the Olympia in Paris, with his band The Mustangs as support-act for the British group [a170356]. It appears in an English film Just for fun (1963), of Gordon Flemyng . Billy Bridge experiencing an eclipse and goes under his name, the charts in 1964. He started to writing songs for others ( [a218951], Stone , [a1616275], [a125101], [a373556] and was successful again, especially with [a486820]. In 1969, under the pseudonym [a1635385], he wrote a few songs without succes. Billy Bridge raise his career in England in 1971, under the pseudonym [a1168593], he sells a million copies of his song [m514589]. He ended his life by giving concerts in France cultivating nostalgia for his debut.
