Spyros Sakkas
Greek operatic baritone vocalist and composer. Born in 1938 (or in 1937) in Athens, Greece. He featured in more than 500 contemporary musical and stage works, with 200 of them being world premieres. Several works were composed especially for him by renowned composers, such as [a=Iannis Xenakis] ("Polytope", "Aïs", etc.), [a=John Cage], [a=Georges Aperghis], [a=Jani Christou], [a=Wolfgang Rihm], [a=Theodore Antoniou], [a=Michael Adamis], [a=George Crumb], etc.
