Ron Rogers (4)

Musician, studio engineer, songwriter and visual artist from Fort Worth, Texas, now based in Portugal. Rogers grew up in Fort Worth and began playing music in the mid-1960s. After living for a short time in Nashville, he moved to Austin, Texas in in 1975 where he worked as a producer and engineer, performed in the rock bands Private Lives, Cautious Dreams, and Ron Rogers & The White Slave Boys and was a staff songwriter for Island Records from 1981 to 1983. He moved to Los Angeles in 1989 where he worked for A&M Records until 1997. Rogers then relocated to Oregon in 2004 where he has worked on art and continued to make blues/country rock music with bands such as Ron Rogers And The Bowling Ball Mechanics and Ron Rogers And The Wailing Wind. In 2020, he moved to Portugal
