Katarina Fritzén

Swedish flautist and musical pedagogue, born 27 May, 1946 in Stockholm, Sweden. She used to be a member of a member of [a740534]'s Trio CMB as well as the all-female, Latin flavoured jazz rock quartet Tintomara, and she appeared on albums with [a14632], [a506974] and [a1073702]. She was also on the 1974 [r5457410] album. She's also written lots of music sheets and a schoolbook in four parts for flautists. Katarina is married to Swedish-American jazz pianist and composer [a964451], with whom she has a son, the jazz pianist, keyboardist and composer [a2802435].
