Mark Bingham

American music producer, composer, musician and engineer, born 1949 in Bloomington, Indiana. In 1966, Bingham was signed to a publishing contract with [a=Elektra Records]. After a brief stint at Elektra in Los Angeles and one single, he returned to Bloomington. There he joined the avant-rock group [a=The Screaming Gypsy Bandits] and also began his own indie label, [l63801]. In 1975, he moved to New York City, forming the [a=Social Climbers]. In 1982, he moved to New Orleans. He started [l441751] recording studio and in 2001 opened [l=Piety Street Recording]. Piety Street closed in 2013. Since 2014 Bingham has been running and working at [l985551].
