Signia Alpha

A fluid group of musicians based around drummer and producer Matt Webster (who also plays guitar, bass, keyboards). Additional and guest musicians on Signia Alpha records include Mark Cranmer (bass), Keith Jafrate (saxophone), Chris Walsh (flute), Jack Atkinson (guitar), Simon Nolan 'Nogsy' (guitar), Stephen Andrews (guitar), Wulf Ingham (guitar), Dee Bo General (vocals), Nick Toczek (vocals), Paul Gray (bass), Paul Tunnicliffe (vocals). Signia Alpha released a series of stream/download singles in 2018, 2019 including 'Anyway' (featuring former Slammer vocalist Paul Tunnicliffe) and covers of The Stranglers' Nice'N'Sleazy and The Clash's The Call Up and Guns Of Brixton. In 2019 Signia alpha teamed up with Bradford ranting poet Nick Toczek to record the album 'Shooting The Messenger', released in 2020. A further collaboration with Toczek resulted in a second album 'Walking The Tightrope' which features bassist Paul Gray (The Damned, Eddie On The Hot Rods) on the the track 'Best Wishes'.
