IDEOMOTOR is an indielectro group hailing from Helsinki, Finland. Formed in 2014, they incorporate aspects of rock, indie & electro to push boundaries of traditional genres. Wide ranging influences translate into haunting yet melodic tunes showcasing stellar songwriting in the vein of Killers, White Lies, Primal Scream and M83. They have already enjoyed some major love from hard to please media outlets and their work has been dubbed as “an enthralling piece of doom-riddled electro-pop” by The Line Of Best Fit, “a swathe of glorious electronic mastery” by We Close Tonight and Clash even went on to say the release of “Amplified” caused a bit of a stir on it’s opening! 2018 has so far seen the release of four new tracks from their upcoming debut album to a solid reception – “Drift Pt. 1” entered Spotify Finland Viral 50 charts and Ideomotor tunes have been playlist staples both locally and overseas. Their debut album will be released in the fall 2018.
