feelswithcaps (previously known as FEELS) is a Finnish electro-pop group consisting of singer and songwriter Sofi Meronen, keyboardist Mikael Myrskog and drummer and producer Aleksi Kinnunen. In May 2020, the band released their full debut album, divided into two sides and showcasing their new sound. Sofi, Mikael and Aleksi come from different backgrounds: Pop/Singer-Songwriter, Jazz and Techno influences create their unique sound of intense electronic beats, with catchy Pop vocals and diverse samples. Sofi writes all the songs for the band and says: “My songs are a bit like skeletons and Myky and Aleksi bring all the flesh blood and muscles and together we make that body move.” Jazz pianist and synth enthusiast Mikael delivers some unexpected harmonies and synth tracks whereas Aleksi is big into techno. He brought the idea of music being hypnotic, not always having to be all highlights and explosions but instead letting the music get into a zone.
