Jimmy Doyle

James Vivian Alfred Doyle (born 14 October 1945 – died 5 May 2006 from liver cancer) was an Australian musician, radio presenter and songwriter. He was the founding mainstay guitarist in [a=Ayers Rock (2)] (8/1973–1981), an Australian jazz fusion, progressive rock band. He was guitarist for Australian bands the Soulmates (1967), [a=Col Nolan Soul Syndicate], [a=Aesops Fables] (1968–1969), [a=Moonstone (4)] (1970), [a=King Harvest (2)] (9–10/1970), [a=Ayers Rock (2)] (8/1973–1981) and [a=Georgie Fame] & the Aussie Blue Flames (1988).
