Søren Huss

Danish singer, songwriter and musician, born 6 September 1975 in Nyborg. Started his musical career in his childhood as trumpeter in [a=Danehofgarden]. Co-founded [a=Saybia] in 1993 and achieved national and international success as their lead singer and main songwriter in the 2000s. In December 2007 his girlfriend was killed in a traffic accident, leaving him alone with their baby daughter. With Saybia on hiatus, Huss released his critically acclaimed solo debut [m=312992] in 2010, with lyrics about dealing with and accepting the accident. Announced on 25 June 2021 that he was retiring from public life to deal with a depression. In autumn 2023 he resumed concert activity and announced a new album for 2024.
