Archie The Operator

In 1974 Archie The Operator (born Archibald Cummings) was recruited as main selector for Jamaica's Gemini Sound System, run by [a=G. Dinnall] (aka Papa Gemini), and Papa Kenneth. As Gemini's rise continued they started to attract some of the top deejays of the day. By 1986 Archie was migrated from Jamaica and was followed by Glamour Wayne (Rolton Knight), and later on by [a=Welton Irie] who now turned his hand to selecting rather than deejaying.
