Miguel Talavera (2)

For more than ten years he has led his latest and successful project "Miguel Talavera Power Trio", also tanning in other formations of different styles, such as Train Time, Big Mama Tableau de Blues and The Midnight Rockets (Blues), Blow (Blues Rock) , Jam Band and Men In Blue (Rock), Wede and Kendo (Afro-Reggae), Rio Seco (Country), Sam Lardner (Country Rock), Barcelona Bluegrass Band (Bluegrass), The Supremes (Soul), The Platters (Pop ) and The Sultans of Swing (Dire Straits Tribute), recording albums with most of them. Currently, in addition to working on the recording of his new project "Miguel Talavera - Tocayo", he is part of "Morata, Sorolla & Talavera", a powerful group with which he has recorded his first album "Taking A Break", published to Early 2019 under the Mitik Records label. There are innumerable actions that Talavera has done throughout his career in all types of venues, inside and outside Spain, including important events, such as the Blues Festival of Cerdanyola (Barcelona), Blues Festival of Cazorla (Jaén), Bluegrass Festival (Barcelona), Zizurkil Blues Festival (Guipuzcoa), U-Zona Reggae Festival (Torelló, Barcelona), Mercat de Musica Viva (Vic, Barcelona), Fira del Disc (Barcelona), Altaveu Festival (Sant Boi, Barcelona ),Mediatic Festival (Alicante), Festival of Diversity (Lliça de Munt, Barcelona), Perpignan Jazz Festival of Perpignan (France), Cornish Bluegrass Festival, Johnny Keenan Banjo Festival, Warrenpoint Blues Festival, Bristol Bridge Blues Festival (United Kingdom) , Klingenthal Blues Festival (Germany), EWOB, European World Of Bluegrass Festival (Netherlands) or the Blues Plus Festival (Poland). Recently, in May 2019, he has toured North Africa for a week with “Morata, Sorolla & Talavera”. He has also worked for the Universal Studios Port Aventura group (Tarragona), as musical director, performing live performances and recordings in his studio. Talavera is a tireless musician who for many years alternated his musical projects with teaching, teaching at the Music School of Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona), in "El Racó" of the Municipal Music School of Gavà (Barcelona), Modern Music Classroom of the Liceo de Barcelona and the Barcelona Music Workshop. He continues to combine his concert calendar with his role as a teacher at the Sant Viçens dels Horts School of Music (Barcelona) His songs have sounded and sound regularly in some important national radio programs, such as “Grasshopper” or “Disco Grande” of RTVE, Radio 3, his appearances also being relevant acting live on television in Catalonia, in programs such as “Jazz a L'estudi ”,“ Blues a L'estudi ”,“ Variacions ”and“ La Columna ”of TV3,“ Sputnik ”and“ Agora ”of Channel 33, or“ Vitamin N ”of the popular Jordi González on City TV among others.
