Neil Otupacca: Hammond Organ and Keyboards Dilana Smith: Vocals Pino Sicari: Guitars Nic Angileri: Bass Guitar and Fretless Bass Guitar Francesco Jovino: Drums The Mastermind, the man with the fingers on fire, Neil Otupacca, is the creator of the Vanishing Signs project. He’s the main responsable for all the compositions and arrangements. Neil’s story began in 1962 in scorching Sicily, where the family moved across the border to Switzerland in his early years. This fabulous new country offered many possibilities to this youngster, who later on completed a degree in computer science. The young Neil developed a strong predilection towards many musical styles which best enhanced the use of his beloved Hammond organ. He started playing at 12 and his live experience has expanded over the years facing with several musical genres and bands. In addition to his great love for classical music, not to mention Sebastian Bach’s Air On the G String, Neil grew up listening to the great rock bands of the 70’s and 80’s, such as Deep Purple, Rainbow, Uriah Heep, Kansas, Rush, Journey, Queen, Toto and many others. Before Vanishing Signs Neil has been a member of bands such as Trouble, Forsale, Gotthard and Sleek. His list of collaborations is long, including several gigs with Ian Paice from Deep Purple and supporting acts for bands like Helloween, Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Marillion, Status Quo and ZZ Top. As a multi-talented musician, he has made numerous albums and compositions and toured the world from Canada to Japan.
