Jérôme Noetinger

French sound curator and in situ artist. Born 25th April 1966 (Marseille, France), Jérôme Noetinger followed his musical training in electroacoustic music under the direction of [a=Xavier Garcia] in Grenoble (France) from 1986 to 1988. Noetinger founded [a=Cellule D'Intervention Metamkine] (Metamkine intervention cell) in 1987, with French cinematographer/performer [a=Christophe Auger] and [a=Xavier Quérel]. He has collaborated with longtime partner [a=Lionel Marchetti] since 1993 and [a=Mathieu Werchowski] (1997-1998). He has performed with [a=Nachtluft], [a=Voice Crack], [a=Tom Cora], [a=Michel Doneda], [a=Lê Quan Ninh], [a214396], [a=Emmanuel Petit], [a=Marc Pichelin], [a=Jean Pallandre], [a=Dominique Répécaud], [a=Peter Hollinger], [a=Keith Rowe], and avant-improv orchestra [a=MIMEO] (since 1997). Noetinger founded and runs record label and distributor [l=Metamkine] (curating its [l=Cinéma Pour L'Oreille] collection) and is currently a member of the editorial board of French magazine Revue & Corrigée.
