Silica Gel

Defunct experimental duo from Raleigh, NC, which started in 1993 and disbanded in the late '90s. Their only album, [m=1048065], was released on CD in 1993—originally on the [l37655] label and quickly picked up for distribution by Negativland's SEELAND label—and reissued on vinyl in 2016. Not to be confused with the synth-pop act of the same name.
