General Surgery

Formed in 1988 - Stockholm, Sweden. Known as one of the first [a=Carcass] clones, General Surgery initially consisted of anonymous [a=Dismember] and [a=Carbonized] members [a=Matti Kärki] & [a=Richard Cabeza] as well as [a=Joacim Carlsson] (the only member of the band to have remained since their inception) [a=Grant McWilliams] and [a=Mats Nordrup]. General Surgery remained inactive for approximately 11 years before reforming in 2004, releasing their first full-length album 17 years after their formation. Currently, the band enjoys modest success as practitioners of the Goregrind genre.
