Meg Tevelian
Armenian jazz and popular music guitarist, born 1902 in Turkey, died October 23, 1976 in Vienna, Austria. Fled Turkey in 1921 owing to persecution of Armenians, settled in Berlin where he was sought after for concert, dance, and studio work. He worked with band leaders such as [a=Benny de Weille] and [a=Horst Winter]. Left music after moving to Vienna in 1943.
