Alexandra Canareica

Romanian pop singer and music teacher from Tulcea, Romania. She debuted in 1983 at the Amara Music Festival in Ialomita. She won 2 prizes at Mamaia Music Festival in 1985 and 1986. In 1989 she also won the famous Romanian TV contest "The Star Without A Name". Between 1985 and 1990 she recorded 15 songs. Between 1992 and 2004 she performed at several famous hotels and resorts in the Middle East (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria), such as Marriott, Novotel, Sham Palace, Sheraton, Sofitel, Sonesta. Since 2008 she is a music teacher and vocal coach in her hometown, at Tulcea Art School.
