Human Feel

Alternative jazz group combining elements of jazz, rock, and punk, founded in Boston in 1987 by [a=Jim Black] (drums), [a=Andrew D'Angelo] (alto sax and bass clarinet) [a=Chris Speed] (tenor sax and clarinet), [a=Rick Peckham] (guitar), and [a=John Silverman] (bass). In 1990, Peckham and Silverman were replaced by [a=Kurt Rosenwinkel] (guitar) and [a=Joe Fitzgerald] (bass). Fitzgerald left the group after the release of their second album in 1991, and the group has since existed as a New York-based bass-less quartet.
