Johnny Madsen

Danish musician, singer-songwriter and artpainter (b. March 31, 1951). In the 70's he played with traditionsl folk group [a=Rumlekvadrillen], where he played banjo and guitar. In the early 80's he played with [a=La Porta Band] where he mixed the traditional folk with jug music and began writing own songs that combined the novelty of jug music lyrics with a more rocking approach that would later define his style as a solo artist, In the late 80's he became an arena rocker and and famed for his true rock'n'roll lifestyle. In the 90's he teamed up with [a=lars Lilholt] and [a=Allan Olsen] in [a=Dalton (4)], a trio known for chaotic tours involving drunk performances and even fights off stage between the members.
