Atentado is a Portuguese crust punk band from Lisboa, originally formed in 1991 but disband shortly after without recording anything or playing any shows, it was revived in 2011 by two former members and have since then released two albums. The band was formed in late '91 by Chico (vocals) and Roberto (drums) both former members of the grind/crust band Atrofiados, and joined by Sérgio on guitar and Pedro on bass, but it was a short-lived project as the band ended days before their recording sessions begun, the group was then revived 20 years later by Chico and Pedro and were joined by Ricardo Correia and JP Fulgêncio on guitars and Lafaia on drums, but Chico quits before they went on to studio to record and is then replaced by Rafael Brazuna, the album "Paradox" is then released in 2011, Ricardo and Lafaia did not last long and were replaced by Oscar from [a=Freedoom] on guitar and Norberto on drums, in early 2014 they released their second album "Antagonist", guitarist JP leaves the group before the album release date and is replaced by Paulo Maciel former [a=Simbiose].
