Akiko Futaba. Japanese female singer born on February 2, 1915 in Hiroshima. Died August 16, 2011. Her stage name "Futaba" is from the Futaba area near Hiroshima station where she was born. "Akiko" from "Aki Country" (Old name of Hiroshima). Her debut record was an educational record that she recorded when she was a high school student. She retired in the summer of 2003 due to hearing loss and lived in Hiroshima.
