He joined pre-Status Quo band [a=The Spectres (2)] in 1964 and appeared on [a=Status Quo]'s first three albums, "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from the Status Quo", "Spare Parts" and "Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon".
