Myriam Beckmann

Myra (real name Myriam Beckmann) grew up in a little village in Mayen (Germany). At the age of 16 she met the two DJs [a=Jürgen Mutschall] and [a=Dominik De Leon], who later would be responsible for Myra's first musical experience. After school, Myra did two trainings, a creative one and a commercial one. Her musical career started in 1996, as [a=Jürgen Mutschall] was searching for a vocalist of his project JamX. This caught the ear of Niki de Leon who produced the song together with René Dumont. Tomorrow was released in 1998 under the name [a=Dumonde]. In this time however Myra continued a fashion model carreer (for instance for Versace). Shortly after, Myra met the dancers and dentist students Patrick and Alex. The trio became performers for the project [a=Paffendorf]. In 2001 Myra left the project and took the alias Djane alias Debbie Does Dallas. The same year she became a member of the live-show Coyote Ugly, touring in Germany's clubs and bars. She replaced [a=T Seven] in 2002 as front vocalist of the project [a=Mr. President]. With the project she recorded the single Love, Sex & Sunshine as well as an album. After she left the project, she entered in 2004 the agency Awarded Artists. 2005 : Myra joined Coyote Ugly again, presenting new songs, such as Rebel Yell. In November she opened her first own shoe shop in Mayen.
