Irratum

Irratum is a sound and performance vehicle founded by Richard Warfield Smith and Peter F.A.N. Redgrave. In Irratum, Warfield explores analog sound synthesis and processing. Redgrave contributes his sound design and constructed instruments to the endeavor. Together in the Irratum project, they coalese to present us with concentrated chilling tones of electronic and acoustic instruments that shimmer and slowly dance around each other. Their compositions lure the listener into a game of distinction, distorting our reality with frequencings that go in and around our head.
