Bloodthirsty Butchers

Post-hardcore / emo / indie rock / noise rock band from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, formed in 1986 by Yoshimura, Sano, and Imoriya, all of whom previously played in various Sapporo-based hardcore punk bands such as 畜生 (Chikushō), LSD, and Spitfire. Butchers initially started off as a punk band in Sapporo, then relocated to Tokyo in November 1990 after opening for Fugazi.
