Lars Overgaard Christensen

Danish musician, composer and significant engineer and producer (March 15, 1958 - August 7, 2010), affiliated first with the [l446671] and later with [l267335]. Engineered for many of the major Danish rock stars. [b]If a Lars Christensen is credited as engineer on classical productions, it's most likely [a=Lars S. Christensen][/b] Lars Overgaard Christensen started out as guitarist, singer and composer in the 1970's Elsinore-band [a=D.C. Army Band]. In 1983 he composed the Danish ESC contender [m=465498]. but he then turned to studio work. He is best known for his long time key role with [l267335], where he recorded many Danish best selling albums but mixed more. Lars Overgaard Christensen can be seen quite inconsistently credited as both Lars Christensen and Lars Overgaard and various combinations - often on the same release. When working with [a272991] he is seen credited by his initials as L.O.C. and must not be mistaken for the later Danish rapper [a489717].
