Raquel Gomez

Eurodance vocalist. She was born in Spain but moved to Wiesbaden (Germany). She joined her first band at the age of 15 and met guitarist Carlos Alfonso de Jesus. In 1994, she was discovered by the team of [a=Public Art] and went on to record 'River' (1994), a huge Eurodance anthem (and the last single of [a=Torsten Fenslau]). Nonetheless, 'River' kickstarted the career of Raquel Gomez. In 1995, she contributed to [a=Matador (23)]'s "Ritmo Nacional", [a=Intermission]'s "Planet Love", "Do You Really Want My Love" by [a=Two Heads] and "You're The One" by [a=Hysterie]. Her first solo single was called "Man On The Moon", released under the name 'Raquel'. She later collaborated with [a=Hope (3)] on "Future World", "Whenever You Want Me" by [a=Powersound] and with [a=C-Block] on "So Strung Out". She took part to the [a=Garcia] project and appeared on [a=T-One (2)] "Somewhere Out There" before coming back to her solo career (single "Over And Over" in 2002). In 1999, she gave her voice to the vocal version of "Stella" by [a=Jam & Spoon].
