Darrell Lance Abbott

Darrell Lance Abbott (born August 20, 1966, Dallas, Texas, USA - died December 8, 2004, Columbus, Ohio, USA) was an American guitarist and songwriter best known as a founding member of two bands, [a85885] and [a333294], alongside his brother, [a251580]. He was considered to be one of the driving forces behind groove metal. He was shot and killed by a gunman while onstage during a performance by Damageplan at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio.
