Mark Barkan

Songwriter - producer. (July 4, 1934 – May 8, 2020) He was also a musical director for the television show The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. Has written numerous songs that have become hits for [a=Lesley Gore], [a=Manfred Mann],[a=Connie Francis] etc. He and [a=Ritchie Adams] co-wrote songs for [a=The Archies], [a=The Monkees], and for many other recording artists in the late 60's.
