Denis Agenet & Nolapsters

After around fifteen years with the BAD MULES training which gave him will allow him to win the French Blues Challenge in 2016, he will therefore do a new foray at the IBC in Memphis, which will be followed by a small tour in Mississippi. Numerous trips to the United States, notably to Florida for accompany his long-time friends, Josh Miller, Karl W. Davis or again Jim Mac Kaba, but also in New Orleans on several occasions, which will deepen this culture for African-American music. Numerous participations in albums, including 6 with Bad Mules, and the honor of having been able to record under the guidance of Blaise Barton and Dave Specter, at Joy Ride Studio in Chicago in 2017, for the album of his friends Jennifer Milligan and Pascal Fouquet (Lil Red & the Rooster). With a repertoire drawn from fabulous NOLA artists swing and rock'n'roll covers from the 40s to the 60s are making way for festivals, to a majority of Denis' compositions, and always with this energy stage that characterizes Nolapsters. Surrounded by experienced and talented musicians (Igor Pichon, Ben Bridgen, Thomas Aubé, Félicien David), Denis, accompanying himself very regularly many American artists in Europe and across the Atlantic as Mac Arnold, Omar Coleman, Tom Holland, Barrelhouse Chuck, Jonn Del Toro Richardson, Johnny Nicholas, Dave Gross, Wanda Johnson, Jimmy Burns, CW Ayon, Chris Ruest, Nathan James, Jose Ramirez, Ivy Ford... can only promise the best on stage and in the studio. The first 7-track EP “Who Dat?” released in March 2018, and out of print now, allowed the group to roam on stage and prepare for the new album released in March 2023. A new opus which will be enhanced with a brass section, backing singers (Julie Dumoulin, Laurence Le Baccon, Marine Deleuze), a piano and some distinguished guests (Sax Gordon Beadle, Cédric Le Goff, Austin Brashier, Nathan James, Nico Wayne Toussaint, Arnaud Fradin...) 10 compositions by Denis, already writing the next album / Rock'n'Hall Distribution
